Without an account, your browser keeps a random anonymous cookie so a game room can recognise you. The server stores only its hash.

With Google sign-in, we ask Google only for basic profile scopes (openid, email, profile) and store your Google account ID, your Google name (up to 32 characters) and your verified email, which is shown only to you. We keep no Google access tokens and read no other Google data. The sign-in cookie is HttpOnly and lasts 180 days, or until you sign out.

Games: friend rooms (board, moves, chat, the name you chose) are stored on the server for both players. Without an account, your recent-games list stays in your browser. Signed in, your finished games (moves, both names, result and date) are also stored on the server under your account, the latest 200, so you can see them on another device; games already in the browser when you sign in are added too. Engine analysis stays in your browser. No ads, no third-party analytics or tracking cookies. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles access logs under its own policy.

Visit counts and error reports: each page load sends this site one visit record: which page (lobby, friend room, computer game or review), the site you came from (only its name, such as discord.com), your browser and interface languages, whether the screen is a touch screen, and the country or region Cloudflare sees. When a page fails or the xiangqi engine cannot start, the browser sends an error report: the error message and where it happened (the stack), the page path (without the room or game number in the address), and your browser's user agent and language. Neither carries a cookie, an account, a name, an email or an IP address, so they cannot tell players apart. They go only to Cloudflare's Workers logs, which delete them after at most 7 days; they are not stored anywhere else or shared with anyone.

Deleting your account: open the account menu (top right) and choose 删除账号 (Delete account). The account, its sign-in method, the games stored under it and all sessions are removed at once. Games saved in a browser stay there until you clear the site's data.

Open-source software: computer play and the review use the xiangqi engine Fairy-Stockfish, licensed under the GNU GPL version 3. The site serves its unmodified browser build (fairy-stockfish-nnue.wasm 1.1.12), which runs on your device: license · authors · corresponding source · version and build notes. The pieces use a subset of the Ma Shan Zheng font, under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 (license). Other open-source components in the pages and their licenses: third-party-licenses.md.
